Review: Head Gravity LH Pickleball Paddle

When it comes to any sport, having the right gear is essential. It not only helps you excel at your game but also helps you avoid injuries and soreness. When it comes to Pickleball, finding the right Pickleball paddle can be a tricky task for anyone. This is because there are different types of paddles available in the market, each with pros and cons.  I was lucky and found the Head Gravity LH Pickleball Paddle without much effort.  Whereas my boyfriend is still searching for his ideal paddle.

My Thoughts

The Head Gravity LH Pickleball Paddle is my second paddle (ever). My first paddle was purchased online at Dick's Sporting Goods in the middle of the pandemic, so I did not hold it until I picked it up. I also ordered my boyfriend one, a head, that he loved.  It was not until I changed paddles (upgraded) did I realize how critical the right paddle is. My game changed drastically. 

We brought several pickleball paddles home to demo, and I loved the Head Gravity LH at first play.  I played with each paddle, and I just knew.  The others felt cumbersome—bulky and heavy.  I like to play fast—quick hands and move.  This paddle made it easy for me to hit in the air and really from anywhere. 

Not very Popular—>Maybe it's a Secret Weapon

In total, I've seen two other people using this paddle, so I would not say it's popular, it's my secret weapon! While I like aggressive play—what I mean by that is energy, I want the game to have energy.  I certainly do not mean slam and ban.  It's good for players who want strategic shots, dinks, lobs—not bang away. 

Speaking of Popular

I've played with my boyfriend's Joola, Ben Johns Hyperion CFS 16 Pickleball Paddle.  I'll let you know what I think!  One thing that I never considered and probably have not given much thought to my entire life—is that other players check out your paddle—and make judgments on you as a player based on your paddle.
